About Gift Night Sky

It all started with finding a gift that makes our loved one feel cherish and valued, and yet something that we don't have to reach the stars for (pun intended). You see, we believe that it should not be that hard to express your love! And we love helping our customers express their love in the most special way possible.

Our long quest of searching for such a gift led us to the idea of Star Maps! What is more romantic than capturing your special moment, be it the birth of your loved one, or the time you took the eternal oath of love with your spouse?

We at Gift Night Sky want to help people capture their special moments and frame it forever. We are a small startup based out of Bengaluru, and are excited to bring new and unique gifting solutions to our customers. Our first offering to our customers is a Star Map.

Star map is a beautiful map of the night sky showing the alignment of the stars as seen from a location and date of your choice. It includes the major constellations seen in the sky. We can create a star map for any date of your choice past, present or future.

We use several astronomical databases to create our star map. These databases contain galactic coordinates of all the stars visible from Earth with naked eye. The coordinates place each star in a galactic coordinate system. We use this database to create a projection of how the night sky looks on the date and time of your special moment, thereby capturing a snapshot of the sky from that moment for you!

Our team puts in a lot of love into every star map that leaves our studio. We hope that it brings the same happiness and joy to you and your loved ones, as we get while making your personalized gift!
